CUET UG 2024 will be conducted for admission to various UG programmes offered at 47 central, 54 state, 37 deemed, 177 private and 6 other universities. There is one central and one deemed university and multiple private universities in Gujarat that admit candidates to their undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG).

Universities including the Central University of Gujarat (CUG) and Gujarat Vidyapith use CUET scores for undergraduate admission.

Central University of Gujarat

Central University of Gujarat (CUG) offers courses at UG, PG and PhD levels in various disciplines of humanities and social sciences, life sciences, teaching and education, literature, language and cultural studies and international studies. CUG has been ranked 61 by NIRF 2023 among the top universities in India. The university offers two UG courses, 18 PG courses, and 12 doctoral courses. The official website of CUG is cug.ac.in.

The university houses 11 schools namely the School of Chemical Sciences, Applied Material Sciences, Education, Environment and Sustainable Development, International Studies, Language, Literature and Culture Studies, Library and Information Sciences, Life Sciences, Nano Sciences, National Security Studies and Social Sciences.

The undergraduate programmes under CUET are BA (Hons) German Studies, Chinese (Hons), BA and MA Social Management.

There are also several other universities in Uttar Pradesh which do not accept the CUET UG score and conduct their own entrance test for admission to UG courses.
