Highly-rated Javairo Dilrosun was the centre of attention during his first training session with Holland on Monday.

Crystal Palace defender Patrick van Aanholt and Bournemouth's Nathan Ake were keen to welcome the Hertha Berlin forward after he received his first senior call up for Nations League matches against France and Germany.

The 20-year-old has been rewarded for his impressive Bundesliga form, having scored two goals and contributed three assists in nine appearances this season

'In the Under-21s, they were very positive about Javairo Dilrosun,' said Holland manager Ronald Koeman. 


'Now that [Arnaut] Groeneveld is injured, we needed to look for a solution.

'In the last couple of weeks, we followed Dilrosun and we were very positive about him. He showed in games against RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund away that he is a great talent. '

Holland face France in Rotterdam on Friday before travelling to Gelsenkirchen to take on Germany three days later.

They need to win both matches to progress from Group 1 of League A to next year's Nations League Finals.
